What technology do you use for virtual career coaching sessions?

We use Zoom for virtual career coaching sessions. ​We can also conduct meetings over the phone at the client's request.

Do you only work with people based in Chicago?

We work with anyone in the United States. In certain cases, we may consider working with an international client if it is clear that the client could realistically benefit from our services.

Do you offer cover letter or resume writing services?

We believe in helping our clients move toward self-directed growth and autonomy, so we teach our clients to refine their own materials. We will walk with you every step of the way. In certain instances, we will consider digital review of such materials. If this is mutually agreed upon, your career consultant will communicate with you about the fee for services before starting the review process.

Do you guarantee job placement?

We do not guarantee job placement. We are a career and professional development consulting company, not a recruiting or placement firm. We equip clients facing a variety of career concerns to navigate the challenges they are facing and support them to become autonomous.

What if I sign up for one package, but later decide I want to add more sessions? Will I receive the lower rate retroactively?

We contract for particular packages. Whatever package you ​sign up for locks you in at that rate until you've completed the package. Details for fees will be outlined in a client agreement before work begins.

What if I sign up for a package, but don't end up needing all of the sessions?

You can keep the sessions as a credit​ to use anytime within a year of signing the contract. We also allow clients to "gift" already paid-for session to friends or family members who may need career support. If you want to explore this option, please email your career consultant directly.

Do I have to pay for the entire package upfront?

You can pay for the full package cost upfront before services begin, or we can outline a different payment schedule to be outlined in the client agreement. Some clients prefer a pay-per-session structure, which we are happy to do using the pro-rated package rate.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payment via check or Paypal.
